LinQR® is a trade name of QR8.

Through QR8’s website and/or platform, privacy-sensitive data, also known as personal data, is processed. QR8 considers careful handling of personal data to be of great importance. Personal data is therefore carefully processed and secured by us. In our processing, we adhere to the requirements of privacy legislation. This means, among other things, that:
1. It is clearly stated for what purposes QR8 processes personal data. This is done through this privacy statement;
2. The collection of personal data is limited to only the personal data necessary for the purposes for which they are processed;
3. QR8 asks for your explicit consent to process your personal data in cases where your consent is required;
4. QR8 does not pass your data on to third parties unless it is necessary to provide the requested service or if QR8 is legally obliged to do so;
5. QR8 takes appropriate security measures to protect your personal data and also requires this from parties that process personal data on behalf of QR8;
6. Your right to access, correct, or delete your personal data upon request is respected.

In this privacy and cookie statement, we explain what personal data we collect and use, for what purposes, and how we use cookies. We recommend that you read this statement carefully.

Article 1 – Use of Personal Data

When visiting our website, creating an account, requesting information, filling out the contact page, or using other functions of our website, you leave certain personal data with us. You may also have provided data to us by phone. We collect, store, and use only the personal data that you provide directly or that is clearly provided to us to be processed. We use the following data:
a. Name and address details;
b. Phone number;
c. Email address;
d. Other contact details;
e. Login details;
f. Payment details;
g. IP address;
h. hamber of Commerce number and VAT number;
i. Other data you provide to us.

We use this data for the following purposes:
a. Providing access to our websites;
b. Using functionalities on our websites and platform;
c. Offering our services and products;
d. Contacting you if requested;
e. Gaining insight into the use of our website and platform;
f. Improving and evaluating our website, platform, and services;

Article 2 – Security of Personal Data

We take appropriate technical and organizational security measures to prevent misuse of, and unauthorized access to, your personal data. For example, we use strict security procedures and access control. QR8 also uses secure connections (Secure Sockets Layer or SSL), ensuring all information between you and the website is protected.

Article 3 – Retention Period

We do not retain the provided data longer than necessary to achieve the purposes stated in this privacy and cookie statement. We adhere to the statutory retention period of 7 years, depending on the data and documents. This retention period is only applied to data that must be retained for this long according to tax legislation. We retain other data for 1 year after the end of the agreement (for example, after you have canceled or decided not to extend your trial period).

Article 4 – Confidentiality & Provision to Third Parties

We treat your personal data confidentially. The personal data we collect through our website is not provided to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. Furthermore, we will not provide the data you have provided to other parties unless it is necessary in the context of executing the agreement, or we are permitted or required to do so by law. We use:
a. Mollie: To enable payment of our invoices via iDEAL, credit card, or bank transfer, we use Mollie.
b. Microsoft: We use Microsoft365 for, among other things, email, calendar, file storage (OneDrive), and chat/video calls (Teams). All data is stored in European data centers.
c. Dropbox: We use Dropbox to temporarily store files online during design, design, and editing. After completion, we store files on our own data carrier.
d. Wetransfer: We use Wetransfer to send large files to the customer through encrypted and secure transactions.

Article 5 – Cookies

QR8’s website does not use cookies. However, third parties engaged by QR8 may place cookies. You are free to disable cookies through your browser. You can find out where to disable cookies through the help function of your browser. Please note that it may be possible that the relevant websites will not function optimally.

Article 6 – Social Media

6.1 LinkedIn: Through our website, cookies from LinkedIn are placed and read, provided consent is granted by the website visitor. We use this to track and get reports on how visitors use the website and to show targeted ads on LinkedIn.
6.2 Facebook: Through our website, cookies from Facebook are placed and read, provided consent is granted by the website visitor. We use this to track and get reports on how visitors use the website and to show targeted ads on Facebook.

Article 7 – Third-Party Websites

The privacy and cookie statement does not apply to third-party websites that are connected to our website via links. We cannot guarantee that these websites handle your personal data in a reliable or secure manner. We advise you to read the privacy statement of the third-party websites before visiting these websites or entering your personal data there for more information on how they handle your data.

Article 8 – Personal Data Rights

When you have provided us with personal data, you have the right to request us to access, correct, delete or, in some cases, object to, restrict, or transfer your data. You can submit this request by contacting us via email. To prevent misuse, we may ask you to adequately identify yourself.

QR8 may change this privacy and cookie statement from time to time. Changes will be published on this website. Therefore, it is advisable to regularly consult this privacy and cookie statement so that you are aware of these changes.
